Sites & Hours of Operation
Delaware County Solid Waste has 6 Convenience Centers, 2 Transfer Stations, and numerous unmanned sites located throughout Delaware County. The unmanned dumpsters are for Delaware County residents BAGGED HOUSEHOLD TRASH ONLY, and will be available only until we transition all sites into consolidated, manned convenience centers. If you reside in Delaware County all bagged household trash is free to dump. If you are not, then tipping fees may apply. You can bring one item (appliances, furniture, etc.) a day free of charge. If you need to dump a truck and/or trailer loads then tipping fees will apply. Please see the Convenience Center attendant for a pricing estimate before dumping. The Convenience Centers do not accept credit cards. Only cash or check. North Transfer Station is the only location that can accept credit cards. All locations are open as posted with the exception of holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
